Long hair is a traditional style, traditional beauty of Vietnamese. Even long hair with conical hats (white palm leaf hat) and traditional long dress (Áo dài) were become a symbol of Vietnamese.

But now, only very few girls want to have long hair styles. The factories, industrial parks are moving gradually from the city to the countryside. The peasant girl are gradually out from farming job to become female garment workers, textile, manufacturing of mobile phone lid ... Therefore, they are forced to change costumes, dress styles and  inherent fashions.

Very quickly, the Vietnamese girls have given up long hair to switched to short hair stylist. And they admitted that they become beautiful than before.

However, if you travel to Vietnam, you can still see the girls with long hair. You can see so many girls in rural areas, or in Hue, Mekong Delta. Even in the towns and cities as Hanoi and Hochiminh City, there are so many high school girls ownership a long hair as silk.
